Lionheart Games (later rebranded to Starmi), was an indie mobile game studio in Atlanta Georgia, ran by ex-Hi-Rez Studios employees.

During my almost 3 years there, the team ranged from 7-25 people. As one of the original members of a small studio, I naturally had to wear many hats. So while gameplay programming, abilities, player control, npc behavior/ai, and combat in general were the areas I focused on, I also was helped out in areas like game design, UI, tech art, build maintenance, hiring, etc.

The majority of my time at the studio was spent developing Dragonspire, a mobile first, top down RPG with anime inspired graphics. Unfortunately, the studio shut down before the game was completed and released on mobile, but the game did receive an early access PC release during the studio’s final weeks. See gameplay trailer below.
